Code of conduct

Law compliance

We undertake to comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the countries in which we operate.


Prohibition of corruption and bribery No form of corruption or bribery is permitted at any stage of business activities. Any active or passive form of bribery must be avoided.


Human Rights We commit ourselves to respect international human rights within our sphere of influence.


Forced Labor

We reject any form of forced labor in our company and among our business partners.


Child Labor

We reject child labor in our companies and among our business partners.


Discrimination and respect for others

All discrimination in employment and occupation is prohibited. We seek to provide employment that is free from discrimination, exclusion, preference, distinction and harassment on the basis of ethnicity, national origin, sex, race, color, religion, age, national origin, disability, belief, sexual orientation or any other characteristic protected by law. Employees in our company deserve mutual respect. For the good of the company, we create an environment that promotes the special nature of each individual. Our employees are always selected, hired and promoted based on their qualifications and skills. We create a working environment that enables everyone, including people with disabilities, to be a valuable part of society from the very beginning.


Remuneration and working hours

We comply with national legal and internal requirements for financial and non-financial reporting and ensure correct records. As part of their duties, the management undertakes to identify and assess risks and to protect the company‘s assets and ensure correct accounting. Each employee undertakes to act in the best interests of the company.


Relationship with employees and employee representatives

We respect our employees‘ right to freedom of association. Irrespective of this, we always enable our employees to voice their concerns directly.


Reconciliation of work and family life

We are a family-owned company. Through family-friendly measures, we help to increase the satisfaction and motivation of our employees and thus the performance of our company.


Misconduct / Notes

Our employees are free to communicate at any time with their immediate supervisor, with the employee representatives, our human resources department or directly with the management if they have indications of violations of our Code of Conduct. Employees who report in good faith may not be disadvantaged in any way by their comments.


Data protection

We protect all confidential as well as personal information of our employees, customers and business partners with internal regulations and restrictions on access to data and confidential areas. Non- disclosure agreements with customers and suppliers are consistently observed.


Sponsorship and donations

We make monetary and in-kind donations to the following areas: Science and research, education, charity, sports, culture, churches and church institutions. In addition, donations are directed only to institutions that are authorized to accept donations and sponsorships.


Use of private or public security forces

We undertake to refrain from hiring or using private or public security forces if, due to a lack of instruction or control on the part of the company, the use of security forces involves torture, cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment, injury to life and limb, or interference with the freedom of association and union.


Financial responsibility

We comply with national legal and internal requirements for financial and non-financial reporting and ensure accurate records. Within the scope of their duties, the management undertakes to identify and assess risks, as well as to protect the company‘s assets and ensure correct accounting. Each employee undertakes to act in the best interests of the company.


Disclosure of information

We comply with the legal requirements of non-financial and diversity reporting for our company.


Fair competition and antitrust laws

We comply at all times with antitrust and competition laws and do not tolerate contracts, agreements or understandings of any kind with (potential) competitors or partners that are contrary to free competition.


Suppliers

We encourage our suppliers, where possible, to introduce and implement similar social responsibility principles in their companies.


Health and Safety

We want to create a safe and healthy working environment that meets or exceeds the appropriate standards for safety and health in the workplace. We aim to prevent workplace-related injuries and occupational illnesses through appropriate measures. Accident prevention is an ethical and human obligation. If an accident occurs at work, even though all safety precautions have been taken, immediate rescue and emergency measures are specified. Each employee of PMG Labels LP is provided free of charge with personal protective equipment appropriate to the occupational activity. Our machinery, equipment and elevators are regularly maintained and inspected to ensure plant safety and reduce the risk of accidents to employees. We monitor hazardous materials in accordance with safety and environmental laws. Appropriate safety data sheets are available for the use of hazardous substances, and users are regularly instructed in their use. We conduct regular training for occupational safety in the company. This includes, in particular, training for first aiders and fire protection officers. We also conduct regular fi re safety briefings to raise employees‘ awareness of how fires occur and how to fight them. Safety briefings are held annually and when employees are hired.


Employee development

We regard the development of our employees as an essential investment in the future of our company. In addition to the development of professional skills, we also pay attention to the development of social and methodological skills.


Environmental responsibility

We maintain an efficient environmental management system at all production sites worldwide, which we are constantly improving. The minimum requirements are compliance with local environmental protection laws, as well as the specifications of the environmental protection management system of PMG Labels LP. In the exercise of our environmental responsibility, we cooperate with our business partners and suppliers.


Conflicts of interest, gifts and attempted bribery

We undertake not to accept any gifts or gratuities or to hold (company) interests that could lead to a conflict of interest. In particular, no bribes or other illegal payments may be offered, made or accepted.


Responsibility

We expect each employee to feel personally responsible for complying with this Corporate Code and to support his or her colleagues in complying with it. Management is responsible for enforcing these principles. They become part of our regulations and policies.


Intellectual Property

We respect the intellectual property of our customers and market participants and clear patent and utility model registrations to avoid product infringement. All employees must ensure that our intellectual property is protected from access by unauthorized employees and third parties.


Export Controls and Economic Sanctions

We follow restrictions on the transportation of goods and trade with countries sanctioned by international laws and regulations.


Counterfeit parts

Purchasing from OEM or qualified distributors will prevent counterfeit parts from circulating. We agree to notify our customer immediately and take appropriate legal action to protect the market if knowledge of counterfeit parts in circulation is obtained.


Product conformity and safety

Our products are developed and produced in accordance with legal and official regulations as well as internal standards. We make no compromises here. We ensure that appropriate measures are taken in good time in the event of potential conflicts.


Whistleblowing and protection from retaliation

At our sites, we provide protection from retaliation for all employees who report a case in accordance with the Anti-Corruption Policy report. Complaint procedures, complaints or indications of violations of this Code of Conduct may be reported at any time to PMG Labels LP at info@pmglabels.com - also in anonymous form. The reporting person is required to report only those complaints and indications about which he or she is in good faith as to the accuracy of the corresponding report. All business partners must guarantee not to take any disadvantageous measures or disciplinary measures against the reporting person
