In modern logistics, accurate real-time visibility matters most in the places where it is hardest to achieve. Conventional RFID labels often struggle when they are applied directly to metal, glass, or liquid-filled containers. The surface interferes with the signal, which leads to missed scans and unreliable data.

A Different Way to Think About Antenna Placement

Standard flat labels sit flush against the product, so the material underneath can disrupt the RFID signal. The PMG RFID FlagTag takes a different approach. Its flag-shaped design extends the antenna to the side, away from the application point. This indirect positioning keeps the antenna from touching conductive or absorbent materials and restores reliable read performance on surfaces that were previously difficult to tag.

The FlagTag combines technical performance with practical design:

- Dual-zone construction: The white, adhesive-free upper zone allows clean thermal transfer printing, while the highly transparent adhesive zone keeps product branding and packaging design visible.

- Bulk detection: The protruding antenna stays readable even when products are stacked, placed close together, or stored in tight spaces such as narrow shelving, storage boxes, and smart cabinets.

- Extreme durability: It performs reliably from -40°F to 185°F (-40°C to +85°C), which makes it suitable for cold chains, production environments, and outdoor use.

- Easy integration: It is delivered on a transparent PET carrier and processed like a classic self-adhesive label, so it fits into existing thermal transfer and RFID printer setups without new equipment.

You can order it blank for self-printing and coding (compatible with TTR and RFID printers) or pre-printed and coded. On request, we can customize the label with a four-color print, such as a logo or color coding, or serialize it.
