RFID FlagTags: Flexibility Meets Practicality

A core product in our portfolio is the RFID FlagTags. These have been continuously optimized over the past few years and represent a practical solution for many industrial applications.

The FlagTags are available both pre-printed and blank. They can be printed on standard RFID barcode printers, which enables high flexibility. Particularly noteworthy is the adhesive-free area: it significantly facilitates handling when several thousand units need to be processed daily.

Reliable Performance Under Challenging Conditions

RFID technology offers decisive advantages in environments that are problematic for conventional RFID solutions. Liquids, metallized packaging, or blister cartons typically restrict readability considerably.

Thanks to the special construction of the FlagTags, where the antenna stands above the packaging, signal quality remains stable even under these conditions. This means: even pharmaceutical products in blister packaging or densely stacked metal plates can be reliably captured in bulk.

Customized Labels for Industrial Processes

Our philosophy at PMG Labels is: adapt products to industrial processes. Not the other way around. In industry especially, it's hardly possible to change existing workflows for new labeling solutions. That's why we create customized labels at PMG Labels that are precisely tailored to our customers' needs.

Our portfolio comprises approximately 150 base products, which quickly expand to several hundred configurations through various options. Differences include:

One customer may require RFID labels with a range of only three meters, while another needs twenty meters. This diversity allows us to cover the most varied requirements from production, logistics, or warehousing.

Item Tracking: Intelligently Track Individual Products

A current focus is item tracking. This isn't just about tracking pallets or containers, but capturing individual products at the item level. Particularly in sensitive industries like pharmaceuticals and medical technology, this opens up new possibilities.

The FlagTags can be linked with barcodes and attached to individual packages. In combination with so-called smart shelves or smart cabinets – typically metal cabinets where medications or other products are stored – the system automatically recognizes when an item is removed.

This removal is immediately registered, digitally captured, and assigned to a shopping cart. Depending on requirements, automatic reordering then occurs at fixed intervals. Inventory levels are permanently updated without the need for manual Excel spreadsheets.
